    Engine mount replacement

    Hi Guys,
I have recently ordered a full set of engine and gearbox mounts and will be fitting them in the next week or so due to the engine trying to eat my intercooler .
Does anyone have any hints or tips on their installation, i searched the forum as i recall posts from years ago but cannot find anything.
    Cheers

Graham, Have you checked your snub mount. Could be the culprit. Can't help on the main engine or gbox mounts though.

    Cheers,

    Steve.

Cheers Steve, I'll have a look at that, if it is does anyone have the dimensions of what it should be?. I have a piece of material which would make a great snub mount sat in the garage, or can they be made out of alloy--perks of working in an Aluminium Smelter i suppose.

Ah excellent thanks, i owe you a beer. Thats the info i needed, job doesnt look too bad, but while i am in there i will do the snub mount aswell, might even take my cross member to work along with the existing snub mount, and have a new one made.
