    chips or fries

has any body ever checked out the chips that are avalible and which one is best. and when i say best that can be split 2 ways . out right performance and value for money. there must be quite a few of you that have chips of some sort. just wondered if they have been compaired to see if is an outright leader or if they give much the same results.

    IMHO

Best - MRC!! Can't beat custom on the road mapping and not overly expensive.
Value for money - Paul's homefry! Few hundred quid and 280bhp.
'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.

AFAIK ABY only, MRC do a generic one for the 3B but not much difference in price to a custom. May I suggest that you PM S2_BO about his 3B chip experiences.

No, he's just tried a few different ones and might be able to point you in the right direction.
