Parts to use on AAN 400+

Looking around for a head gasket for my AAN.
    It will ne running GT3071R

I am looking for pointers in what gasket to go for.

    RS2 head gasket
    034 Multi layer gasket
    034 Copper gasket
    034 lower Compression gasket

    Genuine rod bearings
    034 rod bearings
    034 RS2 rod bearings

Also will it be a benefit to have the 034 adjustable fuel regulator.

    Thanks in advance

Standard answer is stock RS2 head gasket and ABY/ADU big end bearings. With that turbo you might want to lower the CR? Your going to need thicker head gasket or different pistons in that case.

      Mark.

P.S. i hope rods are on your list?

Not exactly, decide first what CR you want to run, then how best to achieve that. Ideal solution is to buy new pistons, or have the stock ones machined to lower the CR.

I'd wait to get some first hand opinions for the high HP guys on here before making your mind up.

you forgot the fuelpump: borch 044 ( in line) or 040 ( in tank) or similar if you have the thin pierburg item in tank.... the first place it will go bad... no fuel= no power or wrecked engine.

Witht the right mapping shouldn't need to lower the CR with a 3071. Standard RS2 metal gasket will do the job.

You couldn't use a copper gasket anyway without o-ringing the block!
