Have any of the the standard 3b owners fitted the group buy boost gauge yet, if so what boost do you see. I seem to get 0.7 most of the time, it holds but very rarely go's over this. I just want to compair it with a few others,because I think I might have a small boost leak,I get this whisteling sound which is annoying to say the least. I have checked all hoses and they seem ok.

Do you mean visually check all the hoses? This won't tell you that you don't have a boost leak. Pressure test it.

I did pressure test the hoses, and could'nt find a problem,its just that I am putting two and two together, ie the whisteling sound and the 0.7 bar boost,and thought I might have a small leak,but it may be that the turbo is getting on a bit,or something else I just don't know,thats why I want to compare my readings with another standard 3b

Where is the whistling noise coming from and did you hear it before you fitted the gauge?
When I fitted mine, I had a small leak where the hose joined the gauge which meant I had nearly full boost on the gauge but not quite

The whisteling was there before I fitted the gauge, but the symptoms are as you disscribe, almost full boost but not quite
