We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
In case you need to do this. My local plumbing agent sells "22mm" joints and blanking plugs in brass with solder rings. These actually measure 24mm o/d and are perfect for the job. I initially bypassed the rad using the joint and last week end cut the hoses back and used the plugs. Access to the front of the engine is much improved and, as previous posts, temp control seems OK and more stable. James.
