1.8T coilpack conversion wire sizes

Hi Guys,

Gonna make a start on my 1.8T coil pack conversion this weekend. I am not sure what the min wire size is going to be. I wont be 'T'ing off a common Switched Power or Earth inside the cam cover (This will all be done outside) so there will be 5x4 wire bundles. I just want to check which wire size is best for the connections into each pack so I dont use something too small.

I wouldn't use 20 gauge. Too small. 16 or 18 minimum. I think my common ground lines (to which I t'd were 14 gauge). If you can find teflon coated wire, you can run fatter wire because the coating/cover is thinner.

You know about the Volvo four pin connectors for the ECU connection I presume?

Cheers! Yeah got the nice volvo connectors from the breakers, and also some rubber boots for them.
