3b headgasket?

By what i've read the 3bs came with a paper head gasket??
Took the head of my car earler today to find it had a mhg, can't see much reason for it being uprated to this as when i got the car it was pritty much stock.

I suspect it was changed some time in the past 10 years then... you can't get the 3B paper head gasket any more, only the metal ones. always good to have a metal HG fitted anyhow, more reliable when you're running in the 300bhp+ range...

Just found it a little strange to have it fitted, it's under 120k and nothing in the service history about a hg change.

MTM changed in '98 the HG at the same time with the tuning on my 91 s2 3b, the old one was also a metal...
