Hi guys.....

Would a homefry chip be any good for my setup or would I def need a full remapp. Thinking at the moment that the chip in the ecu is playing up alot (it is digitec after all)

Bigger cooler,
Stock turbo,
Chopped manifold (reverse intake)
3" exhaust

Digitech = rubblish IME... I suggest you get to MRC for a custom remap to get the full benefit of your setup as there are a number of non-standard parts that can have a fairly significant impact on performance. Make sure your MAF and other critical sensors are OK before you go though.

Yeah that sounds best idea is a custom remap, would also highlight if you have anything that might be amiss like a sensor etc which unfortunately just getting a homefry would not unless you drove up to paul and it was done then.

Sorry to hijack the thread

When you say sometimes, does that mean there are mixed batches out there good and bad?

also, what are the symtoms of lean running and what damage can this cause to an engine?

Lean running creates engine know the temps int he engine get too high (IIRC) not good for anything in the engine really for longevity that is.
