    or anybody on here ?
have you guys got any rough prices for the parts required ?
i can get an exhaust made for £495 an thats a 3" straight through with a small back box twin 3" outlet which i thought was quite good i'm in the east midlands so if anybody recomends anywhere to get the parts that would be great as i would like to do the conversion myself not too keen of other people working on my car lol

Call Doug at mrctuning.com or send him an e-mail by clicking on the ad banner for mrc that appears on this site. He'll send you a detailed estimate for you to reach 400 reliable horses.
I would know as he's done the 400bhp conversion to my Avant about a year ago and all is still well.

After getting the Homefry, how do you then get the extra 20bhp for the 300bhp?
What is the torque figure like with the mod that gives the 300bhp?
UrS6 - Homefry, Bailey DV, PiperX filter, Samco hoses, H&R springs, 3" D/P back zorst, 270bhp and 260ftlb

Doesn't really help with my question.

I been too busy to upload graphs etc onto S2 Central, but the spec is roughly as follows

                430Nm circa 3000rpm
                280bhp circa 6000rpm
                Max overboost is ~1.4bar

Returns ~1-2 MPG better than standard on Optimax
This is what was quoted in the thread about the homefries. To get the other 20 bhp you'd have to get something like the following setup:

                Rs2 airbox
                3 inch exhaust system
                Bigger intercooler.

Nip's car was RR at 290 bhp and his was homefried with a 3 inch exhaust with just 1 box in it (and a small box at that )

Wonder what a car with homefry and exhaust and no other mods gives you if you use Tesco 99 RON. My VW turbo 20v luuurves it.

Try shell's performance petrol (can't remember name of it right at the moment) run a couple of tanks of that thru your car and see the difference.
