fitted bosch 040

well i have fitted the 040 bosch fuel pump and, can someone give me just ca how, mutch hp this will cope with?? 500+???

500 on a singel 040??? for safe i will say 350-400+hp max. depent on the presssure you have on the injektors.....

040? The ones usually referred to as the motorsport pump is the 044

I just did another check:

040 = 200 L/hr good for 500 HP, normally internal mount = $269

044 = 330 L/hr good for 700 HP, normally external mount = $299

The fact is we can mount a 044 in our fuel tanks (with some work). For $30 difference, why would anybody bother with the 040?
