42 lb injectors

I think thats a little high but around 450bhp they injectors are good for a 3071 turbo

i was told that figure by the person who remapped my car,that the green ones are capable of around 550hp. 034motorsport however told me that i couldnt get to the 400hp figure with these ones!!!...go figure...
part number:0280150558 and these are high impedence

All i know is that the orange injectors from bosch that porsche uses and are a bit smaller than these have been used from people to reach 500hp(RS2sedan) on other projects.SO my guess is that the green ones can do a bit more than that.

You've been told a porky mate, the 42 lb are about 435cc, the orange top porsche ones are around 511cc @ 3.8 bar thats why they can do 500 bhp as they are way bigger!

if this is correct,then look at this page and let me know which are bigger injectors cause i cannot seem to understand...

from a small comparison in numbers,the porsche part only seems a tad bigger at 3bar of pressure and the OEM pressure regulator is 3.8,isnt it?so no point in comparing one injector at 3bar and the other at 3.8bar.

so if this is the part number indeed,then i was wrong i must say,but not that the green ones cannot make 500hp.It seems they can if they are only 10cc different from the orange ones.

I would question the accuracy of that link as some of the numbers are very different to the file that I have and mine came from Bosch themselves

Also, some of the part numbers are on there twice but with different fuel flow figures etc
