2.8 A8 Air Mass Meter + Temp Sensor Location

Can anyone help me out in finding the Air mass meter on a 2001 A8 2.8 V6? It does not appear to be in the airbox or piping near the air box? Their is a sensor near the throttle body but this looks like an air temp sensor? Its is only small?

Secondly

The location of the coolant temp sensor suppling the ECU?

These are my two suspects for an intermitant missfire which only logs codes 16804 16814.
"Catalyst System Bank 1 below threshold"
"Catalyst System Bank 2 below threshold"

Any info that can help as always is greatfully recieved!!

Hopefully their is a bright spark out their who can help me out?

I've got a sneaky feeling the MAF is in the airbox.

I suspected that too so I looked for a harness going into the air box but couldnt see one? I will check again for the effort it takes.
