After Dave (S2 driver) had his injectors cleaned thought id get mine done at the same place (easy postal service) they gave a before and after flow (cc s) and a leak test and a heads up on the sray pattern they also fitted new pintles and seals. My RS2 greens gained an extra 4cc s after the clean at £65 all in must be good value for money if HGL Motors Hull 01482 443320 they are ASNU approved

I got an ultrasonic bath off Ebay for around 20 quid.
Will hook up an apparatus so that I can cycle the injectors, and perhaps force feed some injector cleaner (white spirit, etc) through the injectors while they are inserted into the ultrasonic bath.

Small ultrasonic cleaners have become very inexpensive. They are, after all, basically a stereo speaker connected to a reservoir. They are normally used for cleaning jewelry, watches, etc. Easy to find on Ebay, etc.
          Here is an example: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ULTRASONIC-CLE...QQcmdZViewItem

Notes on injector cleaner with ultrasonic cleaner:

I hate to say this but you're wasting your time and hard earned money on something like this as you will never be able to clean them properly inside and out. Oh and what about flow testing them after you've cleaned them? how are you going to be able to check for fuel flow rates and spray patterns etc?

Read the links posted in my post above for how-to's regarding cleaning.
Flow rates and spray patterns can be tested by using the guidelines outlined in the Bentley manual.

Well I wish you luck if you decide to try this, however I know for a fact that using something like this will never give you the sort of results that you would get from using a proper injector cleaning machine like the Asnu machine. This machine is the only one in the world that has official approval from Bosch in Germany

True that, but the same can be said about many types of maintenance that we like to do ourselves.. Cost around here amounts to approx. £130 at a Bosch service center, BTW, and with 4 VAG cars to attend to, being able to do things like injector cleaning makes good sense

Hmmmmm - be real interesting to see if you can quantify real world results from that budget cleaner to compare with what can be done with industrial spec ASNU machine.
