    HT Leads

My 1992 S2 has a missfire under boost. I have changed the plugs and now want to change the leads aswell. However no motor factors sell them and they are stupidly expensive from Audi! Nearly £30 per lead!!!

    It is the 3B engine!

Anyone know where I can pick up some leads for a little less than that as my wallet is not quite that deep!

    Cheers

    Hi there,
Have you tried vagparts? They stock a lot more than they list on the website and I'm sure they'll be cheaper than Audi great guys to deal with.
Also possibly Pete @ quattro corner or Corey at quattronics although I don't really know if they will have them I'm sure they could tell you where to go if they can't get them
Alternativly try MSW on the net they have Magnecor ht leads listed for the 3b at £110.88 a set so roughly £22 a lead check out www.motorsportworld.co.uk
I've used them before for parts and they are always a pleasure to deal with.

If you are replacing them all I would go for the magnecor set and even possibly their upgraded 8mm ones..
Hve you checked the dizzycap and rotor arm?

You can use 7A leads in the 3B. I'm using 7A leads and still have the cover on. GSF sell a 7A lead set for about 60 quid.
