hi when re assembling my engine one of the cam caps broke in two i thought they would be easy enough to get hold of so bolted the engine in. After ringing around for days no one has one, my local engineering company who did my head work ordered me one which arrived today, got home this evening took the rocker off and guess what totally the wrong one. So what i am really gettin at is does anyone have a spare one lying around or an engine they are willing to break ??? Just to help a bit it was the one closest to the bulkhead on the inlet side i think it is number 10. Really desperate guys all advice taken cheers rich.

Your may have a problem, those caps are unique to every engine as they are inline bored out in the head, so if you get a new one there's no guarentee it's going to fit correctly. -
i thought that was the case i dont want to get a new head because i have just spent £500 gettin mine bored and ported and polished etc this is not lookin good eek...sigpicComment

Id suggest finding someone with a scrapped head and try one off that, you may get lucky.Comment
