Borg Warner S200 on 3B engine pls help

    Hello everyone
I have done some modifications on my 3B engine. Purpose was endurance of engine and turbo in race. I've got 285ps chip of SMS and engine tired very soon on k24-7000. I built Borg Warner S200 turbo it has t4 divided flange on cheap ebay exhaust header(couse of not enough money). yes it's big for my engine but I didn't try to reach 2.0 or 2.5 bar boost. and now it doesn't spool at all. 0.7 bar is max in 3 gear at 6500 rpm. May some sensors couse this problem or that should be so with that turbo? Is stand alone ECU only way to deal with this?
your posts helped me many times, pls help me in this case to.

No, you need a custom Remap. How ist your Boost in the complete Rev Range? Do you have i.e. a Boost spike at 1.5 Bar and then back?

How was it with your old turbo? Post some pictures.

It sound like you are in Safe-Mode.

You've just probably wasted a lot of time and money my friend, do you actually know what you're doing with a turbo like that? Did you check the compressor map for that comp wheel to see if it was suibtable for your application?

Remeber, there is an awful lot of science in turbo charger installation and design

Ofcourse this turbo is very big. Most the turbine housing and the turbine exducer diameter. The turbo is nice for over 500 bhp. Problem is probably your Software doesnt fit.

Again, how is your Boost values across the rev range?

            Well, what I think...

I admit, turbo is big, but it should spool, not at 2000rpm but neither at 6000. If it can spool on a honda 1.8 than it can on ours.

            1)wastegate
2)Restriction in exhaust, a restriction would have more effect on a bigger turbine wich needs more airflow to spool (enter it's efficient zone/speed)
            3)Turbo assy. I don't think I've seen a twin entry T4 for a s256/s258. Maybe your housing is too big/A/R ratio...

            Good luck.

thank you. A/R should be 55. today I'll get pictures. It dosen't spool at all. and I knew that it should work 450-500HP,but couldn't imagine if my engine will be not enough for it(not enough experiance not enough brain to find out more ). my old k24-7000 always had red hot end. I'll try to do something with it,I'll check all sensors and after if I'll not have any results, I think I'll buy stage Ic ECU of 034motorsport.
thank to all. I'll write if will have any results.
And what I'll try at first it's restrinction.

Write because with that info we cannot Help you. In order to say if your ECU goes to limp mode you must tell us how the boost was before and how it is now across the Rev range.

Boost before was at about 1.2 bar and 1.75 bar overboost at 4000 rpm. Now 0.7 bar at 6000 rpm. I think restricyion is good idea.
