A couple of quick Qs about oil servicing

What is the oil capacity of the (AAN) engine?
Are Purolator (from Opie oils) oil filters any good?
Does anyone here use engine flush? Been told that Audi use Wurth flush as standard on all oil services.
UrS6 - Homefry, Bailey DV, PiperX filter, Samco hoses, H&R springs, 3" D/P back zorst, 270bhp and 260ftlb

Triumph Daytona 955i - mmmmmm :fire:

4.5 litres I believe. I was gonna use one of those Purolator filters, but have always been told just fit the OEM Mann filter (something about a spring/one way valve inside the filter??). I get mine from GSF.

I's agree, just use the OEM oil filter. More than adequate and reletively cheap.
You should be fine to use a flush, just as long as your engine isn't black and sludgy inside (unlikely).

        Silkolene Pro S 5w40 or Motul 300v 5w 40?

Anyone got any experience of either?

I used Pro-S 10W-50 in mine, though it had done over 200k.

You can't go wrong with either of those oils, if you want to go with that grade.

The mann ones from GSF are identical to the OEM ones.

Audi rebadge the Mann filters and charge extra for the 4 ringed logo.
