Hy guys! I will change the ecu from 3b to aan and i saw that theTPS sensor is diferent between the 2 engines regarding the potentiometer readings at WOT. Can you tell me if i really have to change that also?
at 3b is between1000 to 2800 ohm
at aan 1000 till 2700 ohm.
Should i be concerned about this?
thank you very much!
Not sure, but if AAN and ABY are the same, you would need to find somebody who has done a 3B to ABY conversion, and find out if they needed to change their TPS to the ABY version, I know a few have done this conversion, among them Audiman...
Anybody else done this conversion?
Sorry I couldn't help, but somebody must know...!

IME it appears to be the relative values between off idle and WOT rather than the absolute values ( my ABY TPS does not conform to the workshop parameters but still gives correct boost ). There were several threads some while back arguing that it was volts from the device rather than resistance that really mattered. Why not go with your 3B one and see how it performs before spending £££s ?
Hope so because the tps is expensive and i have 3 from 3B engine. I hope i can use them. Normaly the volts will be higher with lower resistance. So the 3B actualy will give less volts at WOT then AAN or ABY and ADU. Hope to be ok with 3B one.
I can testit in an AAN to see if is something wrong.
Thanks for reply!
All the best!
Eugen
