    VDO boost gauge readings???

Finally got around to installing my VDO boost gauge. Install was a brezze

It´s a real beuty, can´t tell the difference from the orignal instruments

Just a little confused about the readings.

When engine is off, it reads zero. So far so good.

At idle it is a little off the scale, around 0.6 bar negative. (scale stops at 0.5 bar negative)

At full boost in 2nd gear it is reading around 1.2 bar, and droping slowly as approaching red line. Guess this is ok, as the car was remapped some months ago to max 1.25 bar pressure.

When letting go throttle, is goes all the way off the negative scale. Down to the first of the small black screws on the dial. Maybe 0.8-1.0 bar negative. This seems a little much to me.

Are my readings normal. Standard engine/everything except the remap.

Any tricks to get the red colour in the display, have not installed the light yet, but noticed the green "condom" on the bulb, so assume it will light up green

hmm, would have appreciated a scale to negative 1.0 bar then

Oh well, gues i should wory about how to utilize more of the positive scale instead.

      More boost

yes i would have liked that as well, besides 2.5bar is too much for me.a -1bar would have been more usefull.
