From the codes, the first thing which needs fixed is the throttle switch F60

    Next code

    00519
    Intake manifold
    pressure sender G71

    -Signal too small
    -Signal too large
    -Control difference

    Possible causes:

    -Vacuum line from intake manifold
    to J220 interrupted, blocked, kinked
    or crimped
-Liquid seperator in hose line from intake
manifold to J220 full of liquid
    -Blow off valve faulty
-Solenoid valve for boost pressure limiter
    N75 faulty
-Pressure sensor in Motronic control unit
    J220 faulty
    -Turbocharger faulty

I woud run the output test on VAG Com to test the WGFV is working. If it's not, there is likely a wiring issue. I've yet to see a faulty WGFV.

I would also consider replacing the recirculating valve.

Thanks for your offer Gaz, much appreciated However, the story has taken a bit of a twist, which hopefully involves the car going to QRS to be fixed instead.

I went back to the garage I bought it from as I'd paid an extra £299 for a 2 year warranty, and at first I was told it wasn't their problem. I went back yesterday, to see the actual salesperson I bought it off and after an initial disagreement on whether I'd actually purchased the warranty or not I was told to await a phone call from him, giving me a phone number and reference number for the insurance company that deal with the warranty claims.

I phoned them, and they're happy with me sending it to where I want it to go (QRS) rather than any old garage that may not know what they're doing.

I've now got to wait until 10th December for them to take a look as they're so busy.

Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly and again, a HUGE thank you to everyone who has offered help and parts.

Its not quite that simple but yes a faulty TPS could give woes... Air is measured by MAF, then taking boost, ambient, knock and throttle position info the ECU calculates how much fuel to inject... And how much duty cycle to apply to WGFV.

Badly aged MAFs can give low outputs which fool the ECU into providing low injector pulses - so it runs lean for the actual amount of air being ingested. Within adaptation limits the ECU will use lambda inputs to correct for that, but this only applies in cruise mode - at WOT the ECU provides fuelling direct from maps without any adaptation.

WGFV duty cycle (boost regulation) is basically controlled by where the throttle is - so a dead TPS could give a scenario where you get no boost regulation from the ECU... Hence the 0.4bar of mechanical boost you are seeing.

Oh - have you checked the fuse for WGFV - that'll stop it working too. S2central.net tells you which fuses for which on 3B or ABY. Could just be a stuck WGFV.

Do the output tests on VAG-COM to verify that you have electrical link to WGFV working.
