Fly Wheel TDC

Guys

I am trying to set up TDC on the crank and Cam. I have various posts explaining what to do and what to look for, including some manual posted on here. In the 3B manual it talks about setting TDC with the (0) mark on the fly wheel. When i look at my flywheel i only have a straight line visible (and even then not very clear). I can see the timing pin on the flywheel. Would TDC be set if i set this to be in the small viewing window in the bell housing? I just struggle as the engine and literature appear to be a little vague.

Keep turning,and it will appear,line up the centre of the o with the straight bit on the bellhousing window.
