Main Radiator

Anybody bought a main rad recently, if so how much and where from?. Just wondering what options are available, decided to do coolant gange yesterday before worst of winter sets in.
Every thing fine, bleeded system ok let fan cut in a couple of times replaced cap & let engine run for a while i went and tidyed up, came back to front of car & i was met by a fine jet of water/coolant coming from top of main rad.
On closer inspection there's a hairline crack on top of rad just 20mm before top hose.
oooh ****** so hence the question ?

Oh yes (gulp) its an ABY with aircon. Kiss goodby to those knuckles.

Hey Fat Audi 80 just been reading lots of posts on your main rad antics.
Sounds like arpita .
Did you have to take the hydraulic cooler hose off , the one that runs in front of condenser or can i loosen hyd res & pull it forward.
Also the plastic cowl on the left side, doe's that come off with rad or do you have to wrestle with it first.

Hi,

Yeah mine has AC and it fits (albeit a right PITA to get in and out!)

When you call them up they may ask for your VIN number of confirm that part.
