i changed my oil yesterday. with the new oil(gulf 10-60 racing), the oil pressure is more than 3 bar on idle(1060rpm), with 85c oil temp.
its goes to 5 bar on 1700rpm.
it is normal?

my oil pressure is at 2.2bar when on idle on 900rpm on 10W60 castrol.It goes to 2bar only when hotter around 96C on water temp.
Maybe it is because of the new oil pump which is better and also there are no compression leaks and other losses.On the other hand the 10W60 is a high viscosity oil and it would tend to bring pressure higher than other oils
