What does it mean? the number 53 comes up when first started and stays for an indertimate period of time, goes off and the OK flashes up.
I do have problems with autocheck doing random self checks and the speed check going off at random speeds in the cold. I have no idea how to fix any of the above.
Sounds like you're rods are stuck / broken maybe? (the rod that you would push to trigger the autocheck sequence )
I've got a broken cluster i'm happy to butcher for you if you need it
I had this error when I fitted s2 dials to my 20v iirc its something to do with an error from the stalk, what are the dials in your s2? If so thats wierd as its designed to go in there could be a wiring fault?
Yeah in my S2, the stalk/button to the far left doesn't seem to have any movement in it. I have also been thinking it may be a broken button or dodgy connection. Will remove the cluster this week I hope and have a good look.
It happened to mine too.. It was the autocheck button that was stuck in. I pushed it hard a few times, and it popped all the way out again. Mine read 51.
