Need Arrow Rods, anyone have any ideas?

I am in the US, and would like a set of the arrow rods. Unfortunately with the exchange rate as terrible as it is, the rods are now over 250 each in us $. Anyone have a clever idea on how i can afford these. Right now my only alternative is pauter.
    Thanks
    Hans

Well I ordered a set of these on Tuesday afternoon and when I got home from work on Wednesday they had been delivered, and very nice they are too .

They have more in stock at the moment and you will not have to wait for them to be made.....this is one of the reasons why I did not get Carrillos in the end.

They aint cheap though at £160 + vat each (Carrillos are £184 + vat over here), so I am not sure how you are going to get them cheaper over there, your right the exchange rate does you no favours at the moment.

      Lets see some pics Mark.

Do you need to machine anything from your block to stop them touching it?

I have ordered pauters but they are on a 6 week leadtime from the 16th of February - so I should be getting mine in 3 weeks time.

They look the bo!!ocks. Toilet roll anyone?
Right now we just need to make a clear block so that all these phat conrods can be seen. LOL

I take it they are not rifle drilled?
I will be ordering some rods as soon as my money situation gets a bit better Will buy from the US to take advantage of the crap dollar thing. Eurospec rods work out so cheap.

Not worth drilling them IMO. Look nice mate. Oh yeah, cheers for the txt!! LOL. I will be purchasing some nice Eurospec rods in the next few months to keep ready for my rebuild later on in the year. They arent drilled and come complete with ARP bolts and small ends. I already have the big ends 'in stock' (Please dont tell me off again Mihnea, I know they should be wrapped around my crankshaft, im too busy :s)

Mark, Nice to see you have a few more parts for the monster

They look pretty much like the Carrillo design, I'm sure they will be more than man enough for the job. I bet you'll have them on the bedside table tonight

They look gorgeous! Do Arrow (and Carillo, Pauter, Eurospec) provide details of the mechanical properties of these rods, including things such as fatigue limits etc?

Those Arrow rods look just like the Eurospec ones. Not the same company is it?
