I am tryng to build somethyng like Jogy's old setup... He was verry happy with that untill his 530hp now. I hope i will obtain something like him.

I have porting kit allready, the pistons will be skimmed and the head gasket is 034 lower compression one. The CR will be ~8.2 i think after reading some previous threads. Dont know what else to do... I will start the project next year in february... I am tryng to gather how much info i can about'it to be more precise after.. I will use the experience off all the guys from the forum to be more precise..

Put it this way the American have used Scat rods in their strokers nuff said.

Pays your money takes your choice really.

I will use them and we will see... If oem ones are good for ~500nm then these ones will be good for 600. We will see..

How Jamo says..probably the quality is reflected in the price.. for big hp and big torque the expensive ones are better. For sure the price tells everything about quality.
I hope that for that amount off money, the scat rods will be enough for me.

I know a few people who have dynoed over 500whp with the scats on their 16vt vw's. Have never heard anything bad about them yet.

have you seen ANY H-profil conrods on the forum from any conrodsmaker,exept the finnish blue s2extrem racecar, who have been broken.... i havent.
i will use some svedish one...

one had 430ft/lb wich was on a 9A 16V Block same rod heigth as the audi 5 cyl 144mm the other had 507 whp 495 ft/lb ABA block 16V head 159mm rod length. Both had scat rods.
