    camshaft position sensor broked :S

happy new year to everyone in this forum!!! hope everything is going well!!!

Buddies... I have a big problem... I'd rather say 2. The first one is that the camshaft position sensor in my AAN is broked. How do I take it out? Will I need it's job using the standalone ecu (VEMS)? THe second but not very complicated trouble is that I took out the flywheel and I forgot to mark the position it had! So... on the back of the fly the are 2 marks, the first one is a short line, the second one is a large line... the sensor that reads those marks must be reading the short one on TDC, isn't it????????

Brothers, I'm sorry but I will need some support from you with my NM to AAN swap!!!

    Cheers!

Which AAN early or late? ie where is the sensor front of engine or back.

Flywheel will only bolt up in one position, line all the holes up it will make sense.

For the later (non-very early) AAN with the CPS behind the camsprocket, here is one very good replacement procedure:

      Hope it helps.

It's the earlier one!!! From a 93' UrS4, it has the sensor behind the camshaft pulley. Okay DJONES... I'm done with the fly! I did it in 5 minutes and didn't realized of it before hehe

UrS4boy.. wow...great and very detailed procedure!!! In a few hours I'll start with the job. Thanks you both buddies!!!!

Guys... one last thing (at least for now), could I use the C4 2.5 TDI clutch disc in my setup??? It'd be better than the OEM AAN's. I think!
