Back on the trail of the 92.8mm stroke crank

Alright, i am back at it again. I am still looking for the elusive 92.8mm crank. I do know now that it does exist. There is one in a motor boat out in Arizona. I know that it only came in european tall block motors. I am at wits end, and agian am asking for the european memeberships assistance. The only motors with tall blocks, as far as i know, came in the vans or 2.5tdi motors. the tdi all have 95.5mm stroke. I have a hunch it may have come from a eurovan or transporter. I have been told that it was from a gas engine, but i cannot confirm that. Anyone have any repair manuals, and could look it up for me? I am starting to get a little desperate, as time is running short.
    Thanks
    Hans

If one of you uk poster would be so friendly as to call these people:

With over 20 years experience C&R Enterprises supply high quality specialist parts and servicing for your Audi, Seat, Skoda or Volkswagen.

They seem to mention that they have seen 92.8mm 5 cyl cranks. If you read the wording very carefuly on this page

    92.8mm 5cyl crank mentioned passage

here is a quote: "The VW group have, for the last ten years or so, been making 92.8 mm stroke cranks for their four cylinder engines and more recently for five cylinders."

Any help would be greatley appreciated.
    Thanks
    Hans

I think the 92.8 is a custom crank used/made by oettinger?(not sure) to create 2.5L engine. Why do you want the 92.8 instead of the 95.5?
Engine code AAF is 2.5L gas engine. Found in Transporter/Eurovan. Similar block, except no oil jets to cool underside of pistons, as 2.5 TDI. The 2.5 blocks are stronger then 2.2 in the bottom end, and I hope it's a good choice for a high HP engine because I've built one

Here's a picture of block and crank (AAF block with added oil jets) :

I do have a eurovan block, and that is what i am using for the bottom end. I wanted a 92.8 to use 159mm rods, just like the vw folks use. The 95.5 crank's r/s ratio just didnt work for me. I also had to install the oil sprayer in my block. Our projects are very similar, i am also fabricating custom manifolds. Mail me, and maybe we can talk further.
                Thanks

No go on the 90mm volvo crank. The crank was heavy as hell, id say at least 20lbs heavier than the audi, plus the snout was longer and plined, the rear flange was larger, and the entire crank itself was about .5" too long, so all the journals were a little off. Close, but no cigar.

Yeah, that was the first place i called. A group of true grade a morons. They had no idea about any of their products, they didnt have it instock, then they said they never caried it, then they said that they had one in stock, then they said they never sold one....... long story short i wouldnt buy anything from them if i was held at gunpoint.
                            Thanks

Looks like an Audi part number. Maybe VAGPARTS can tell us if this is so.
