UrS4/6 Boost and oil pressure gauge options

Here is one for all of the classy UrS4/6 owners.
What boost and oil pressure gauge solutions do you use in your car? Do you have any pics you can post up?
I now think I need a boost gauge and an oil pressure gauge (why didn't we get one of these as standard??).
I have a few limitations/ideas. Your commments and ideas are most welcome.

    1. I don't mind using two of the centre vents.
    2. If I use the vents is there an off the shelf pod I could use. If not, I will take the vents out, fill them with wax and use a hole cutter.
    3. I don't want to use the 034 digi boost gauge.
    4. I don't mind losing the ashtray.
    5. I like the stock colours of the gauges but also like the smoked ones.
    6. I like Prosport gauges.
    7. I don't want to use the A-pillar.
8.There are two spaces in the lower dash either side of the steering wheel, has anyone utilised this space. I don't fancy cutting holes in there though!

    Any thoughts?

The UrS4 does have an oil pressure gauge (where I believe the volt gauge is in a UrS6), some knowledgable soul on here may be able to describe how to do a retro-fit of the UrS4's set-up if you wanted to go down that particular route.

The UrS6 has the digital boost gauge too doesn't it?, though I know it's not the most accuarate thing in the world.

It's alright. Well, actually, it's a bit rubbish to be honest.

As Pete says the UrS4 has oil pressure gauge already and with regard to the atmos boost gauge on the dash it is not that far out on mine (-1 bar)

probably easiest thing would to do is change dash over for UrS4..would not do this myself as i think the S6 one looks better

Doubt that would be the easiest thing. Reckon it would be a PITA, never mind costly !

I'm still thinking of using 2 vents with 2 gauges, although I would still like to hear other peoples comments and experiences on other ways of mounting gauges into the UrS4/6.

When you said change the dash over I thought you meant the entire dash not just the clocks/instruments. Is worth considering as I would retain one of the vents if I ent that route.

Not in the slightest. You own an S4 not an S2 so why would I be rude to you?

                  Where does that go?
Does it replace the entire set of vents?
                  What gauges are they?

Homemade using the original vent casing??

the gauges are auto gauge stealth
                          got them from this guy
                          gauge place
                          he's a top fella
i made the gauge pod by taking all the vents out grip filling a piece of aluminium sheet
in and p38 filler to shape it to the same contour as the dash
i did have a carbon look sheet on
                          but it looked ****
                          as BRY pointed out
so i painted it satin black

                          i think it looks good
and can't wait to get my car back to fit it in
