    big lag - twin turbo?

The kkk26/27 that I run gives good power (+-210kW on the wheels at 1.4 bar - soon to be 1.8 bar) but I only get boost from around 4500rpm. I could get better with a fancy turbo I suppose, but how much better, and still I don't think it would be OK for skidpan gymkhanas, where I need good boost responce (the standard kkk24 wasn't too bad) from 2500rpm.

How about sequencial twin turbo's say - kkk26/27 (cause I already got it) and a garett T2.5 for the bottom end. Or would two smaller parallel turbo's be better?

What do you guys think? Has anyone ever tried and what went wrong ? (I'm aware that there is almost nothing new and that someone somewhere has already tried everything.......)

Exaust manifolds and piping are nightmare. Not very impressive gains also.

From what I know, all I5 twin turbo projects (I have seen) ended up using single turbo. Like ball bearing ones and stuff.

Why look for an over complicated solution when the answer to your problem is ditch the k26/k27 and get a GT3071 or gt2871 if you need the low grunt as the 2871 boost the same as a K24.
