    £500 of power, any ideas?

Got a cheque coming my way, should put it toward a house deposit but want more power instead.
What to buy for the best gains.
Already have homefry, exhaust and filter.
What should I get for my money do you reckon?
I'm thinking FMIC and RS2 (or equivelant) EM.
What will give me the most bang for my buck?

I'd go for the FMIC - then save up for a trip to MRC...

Go for silicone hoses and vacuum lines and make sure you're getting the most out of what you already have.

Ok, lets say £350 -£400 for Silicon hoses and FMIC.

What shall I do with the other £100? I can add a little more to that for something else. :mischeif:
        Try for an EM?
Is it worth getting some of these too?

What sort of extra gains for a FMIC and RS2 (or equiv.) EM on a homefry in a UrS6 (at 270bhp ATM)?

It's going to cost you more than £500 to buy and fit an RS2 EM at a garage.

Use the rest of the money to service the car, change the dump valve, N75 valve, PCV valve and buy some 10w50 oil.

            Brakes / suspension?
It needs to be able to stop / handle before you make it go faster.

Brakes are nowhere near overpowered yet as it'll still stop on a sixpence @ 270bhp.

Already have, as per my signature a Bailey DV, doesn't need servicing, doesn't need a new N75, already have spare oil.

Have UrS6 so RS2 IC won't fit. Have already priced up FMIC and Silicone hoses at £350-£400. Will fit it myself.

18" wheels will be bought soon and are from a different budget.

Basically, I want the biggest BHP gains available for my budget or my budget plus a little more.

I think Silicone hoses and FMIC, but what else? EM?

Not much point putting a larger exhaust manifold on as the standard one will not be at its limit with a k24.

Brakes would be the best bet, standard ones are ****

put the money towards a house which is boring!!!!

Invest in property you will never loose, then once you get a house you can spend all your money on the car unless you are thinking of living in the car????

Ok, it looks as if I think a little differently than people on here.

It is £500 that I wouldn't miss if I didn't have it. It is in addition to any budget I already have for my car and completely seperate from the fund going toward my house.

I know property is a good investment, been there done that and spent 2 years travelling the world in luxury because of it.

Because £500 doesn't exactly buy a great deal of stuff, hey, it only fills the tank 8 times, but, it is £500 to do anyhting with. In that case I can add a bit of money to it to maximise the use of the £500 (within reason).

Plastic surgery? Fraid I am too handsome for that! :mischeif:

I think the brakes on my car are great. I suppose with the rest of the money I could get some EBC Red Stuff pads???

DS2500 . With silicone hoses and FMIC that'll be the £500 spent.
