What turbo does the UrS6 have?

As above. I've been told it is a K26. Is this right? If so is it the same turbo as in a Porker 944?
What is a good hybrid turbo that can be built from the UrS6 unit?
UrS6 - Homefry, Bailey DV, PiperX filter, Samco hoses, H&R springs, 3" D/P back zorst, 270bhp and 260ftlb

Triumph Daytona 955i - mmmmmm :fire:

k24 same as S2 and S4. Have a search for turbo upgrades. RS2 is a popular choice but the newer ball vearing Garretts are getting a pretty good reputation!
'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.

Agree 100%. You might enjoy reading this:

The Garrett GT 2871 (or 76?) is comparible to the RS2 turbo. However, you need to fabricate oil and water lines for it. Or you can buy a complete kit from 034.

You'll be wanting that FMIC and RS2 EM if you're thinking about upping the turbo, else you won't get the most out of it and you might start seeing high temps. Sounds like you'll be putting even more to the £500 cheque!

034 did a Garrett hybrid that I think was placed between S2 and RS2 output, IIRC for ~$750. Changing/modifying your turbo will also likely mean a remap, so it's quickly going to add up.

S2central.net is planning to modify the K24 and I think he's already started a thread so that might give you some pointers if you don't want a new one.

Define "latest". We got 97 S6s in Canada (the US did not). They came with K24s just like all the others.

Never heard that or seen it! Some of the older versions of the 20v turbo had a k26 but not newer as far as I know. RS2 didn't even have one (k24 7200)!
