    ECU pinouts for ADU engine

I found the ABY schematics over at S2Central, and the link says ADU/ABY.
However, on the schematics itself, it says that the information is ONLY applicable to the ABY.
Does anyone know if the ADU pin outs do indeed differ from those on the ABY, and if so, does anyone know where to find the ADU specific schematics?

ADU pinout is identical to the ABY and AAN. Same schematics for engine though you might find some wire colour differences between S2 and RS2 - thats why I put that disclaimer on there before.

      Thanks Paul

About to hook up a knock warning system that will take input from one of the two knock sensors. Will check the color of the wire at the connector in order to check that the wire at the pin is the correct one.
Knock sensor I listems to cylinders 1-3, while knock sensor II listens to cylinders 4-5.
I'm guessing that the signal from knock sensor I will be the most likely to indicate knock?

I honestly dunno which one is most sensitive to knock (if any)... Be interested to see how you get on with this - I heard from good reliable sources that knock sensing is particularly tricky in regards to the intelligence to determine real knock from all the other noises picked up by the sensors.

Is this some off-the-shelf product you bought or a home-grown DIY project ?

As far as I know, there are three off the shelf units available.
          Knocklink: http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Knock_Link-LNK_KNK_LNK.asp
          Knocksense: http://www.viatrack.ca
          KnockLite: http://www.turboxs.com/more_info.php?ID=212

I have the KnockSense in my Golf, and it does indeed work.
11:1 engine that knocks audibly (along with flashing Knocksense) on 99 octane, but no knock and no flash from the Knocksense using E85.
The only downside is that it can sometimes go off at very high rpm due to excessive engine noise. Now, the KnockLite unit from Turbo XS takes input from the tach signal as well, adjusting sensitivity depending on rpm. I will try this unit in my RS2. With boost gauge, wideband lambda (Innovate LC-1), adjustable FPR, visual knock indication, VAG-COM and a performance meter that logs and plots power and torque graphs, I can do some serious tuning and adjustments at any time. No need for a RR
