You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Anyone got an early set of 3B wiring diagrams. Have a later 1992 set of drawings but some of the wire colours appear different to the loom I have and it is taking 10X longer to sort.
Whilst I am here, where does the ECU normally sit for those who have done this upgrade on a series 2. Thanks!

Where is your 3b from? S2 or A200? Looms are different, so the schematics.

In the glove box, or somewhat below it. You can cut new the hole for loom (if it does not exist), or use old hole for A/C (assuming, you have LHD car).

The schematics do have mistakes - definitely - sometimes trivial like the odd wire colour, sometimes more worrying mistakes. Thats a pretty general statement - not specific to 3B.
Thanks for info, Will continue with these but will be double checking everything as I go and updating these drawing so at least I will have an accurate set. Factory probably ran out of one colour and just threw in another until correct colour available ?!!!
