    Boost but no boost...

We had a problem with the car last week - overboosting big time - going off the boost gauge scale... (stock map)

The culprit was soon found - the N75 valve broken at the T-piece and a split in the silicon intake hose. Swiftly rectified with a new N75 and replacing the original intake hose.

Everything back together and we go out for a test drive, with VAG-COM hooked up. The boost is back to normal, peaking around 15psi, but VAG-COM (group 001) is reading a constant atmospheric pressure.

    Any ideas...?

Don't know too much, but two things might have happended
1 some little broken part is closing the long small tube on the way to the ecu
2 the sensor in the ecu might be broken with too much pressure (hopefully not)

1 I would suggest to losen the pipe from the ecu and see if the air has a way through...
2 give manually some amount of pressure to a short hose to the ecu..

        Stupid

.. as you read atmospherc pressure, the sensor is def. not gone.

Not certain but could be the sensor in the passenger footwell measuring ambient pressure
