Do you think pushing a K24 to 325 chp/350ctq is safe and reliable?
Do you think pushing a K24 to 325 chp/350ctq is safe and reliable?
Certain tuners say you can get to those levels with a K24 when bigger RS2-type injectors, a 1.9 Bar WG spring and software are added. I don't doubt that it can be done. I just question their claim of "OE security and reliability".
Any thoughts? BTDTs?

The standard injectors will go to ~320hp, so RS2 injectors don't add anything.
I think that the limit for the K24 turbo is scraping 300hp - just.
I doubt it can be done with any reliability.

England must be a Country. :mischeif:
the standard injector are maxed out before 320. i made 321 at 5100 and it was starting to run lean by then. hit 100DC at 4krpm. ive tuned 4 x 380cc at 3.5bar on a subaru to 355hp so maybe the fuel pump is weak. ill put my holley in-line on soon to find out.
on a k24 300hp is a lot due to the size of it. well dropping off by 5k the standard turbo. just as hp ios increasing due to the math. its in it just about though.
Nah - it turns into a heat pump. Sure you can try and run silly boost but thermally its all wrong and you would need much higher fuel pressure to attempt it on the stock 320cc injectors. Not worth the hassle... Thats gonna be a short lived K24.
"I think the limit for KKK24 - 280-290 horsepower.
This requires:
1) Chip SMS (303 horsepower)
2) MAP at 300 kРa
3) At 4-5 fihla speed adjustment screw spring wastegate.
4) It is desirable fuel pump of RS2, and the exhaust shaft of 7 A.
With this set of turbine normal and long lives.
