I thought i would post this tip..
My car has a 20v turbo transplant and when the lights are on i.e. electrical load it used to suffer from occasional stalling when pulling up at lights etc.
I put it down to how much i have lightened the bottom end.
However having studied many pages on here and elsewhere together with VAG COM indicating 5 kmh when stationary, it appeared that it could be down to the road speed sensor not being connected. as a consequence i made up a short loom to connect/convert the old ur one in to 5v and connected the appropriate signal to the ecu, pin 50 in my case. Hay presto no more stalling and a smother tick over.. Simple job to, don't know why i didn't do it before..
Thought it may come in useful for other converters..
