Can someone point me in the right direction, can't seem to be able to get the ecu out i can see a phillips screw through the plastic bracket behind the fan blower do i need to undo this? tried pushing/pulling what looks like a spring clip holding the ecu to the plastic back plate, any help would be appreciated.
BTW it's very tight under there so if anybody knows a contortionist they can send round.
You don't need to undo the screw.
You do need to open the clip as far as you can then jiggle it out.
It's a PITA first time until you can see what it is caught on.
The spring clip has to be seen to be understood.
Have a drive to Sheffield and I'll take it out.

Managed to fit boost guage plumbing without dropping ecu, wapita that was
Spending about an hour on and off laying on your back upside down in the passenger foot well.
Also tried working in a mirror reflection (thats how i spotted the screw ) that was really strange, gave up after about a minuet.
No screws involved as Bry says. The clip isn't so bad to overcome - its when the casing gets snagged on the carpet with sod all room to move that the patience can be tested.
