Fuel pump relay should be in the main fusebox in the engine bay, centre of the front row of relays.
It should have 208 on the top of it. Audi part number 8A0 951 253 B or 4D0 951 253.
As this is not an S2 based fusebox, this could be wrong however, but have a look at this webpage >>>> here

thx, a little to late though, found it. See i don't have the drawing of the relays only the fuses..

Anyhow seems to be a much bigger problem. I have a short circuit between ground and pin nr 37 in the brain.. messuered the same pins in the car, where there are no short circuit... Can i have connected the wires on the new hall sensor wrong? and would that do this to my brain? After what I can se the hall sensor is not even covered by the nr 37 pin.

I'm a bit reluctant to just fix or get a knew brain for the same thing to happen with the knew one...

I don't know if I going to help here or not but this info might help:

        AAN ECU pin-out:

        http://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/149829.phtml

Info about the interaction between the cam position sensor (Hall sender), the ECU, the J17 fuel pump relay and the injectors:

        http://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/133907.phtml

I think the answer is in there somewhere, including your hint that you might not have the cam senser wired proper or there is a broken wire. If that was the case, your ECU would not fire the J17 fuel pump relay and therefore there would be no power to either the fuel pump or the injectors.

        YMMV

interesting... is it posible to get a hold of the rest of the wiring diargram, showing the ecu connections? I think it is the relay in the brain that has short circuted.

I knew that the hall sensor had to work for the fuel the fuse blows nothing works

At AAN engined S4 S6 the fuel pump relay is in the auxiliary pannel under the dash..

new brain today, but the fuse blows when pin 37 connects to the car... the whole contact to the brain isn't even connected and the ignition is not on!! New brain is still intact, but this is realy startin to piss me off! One thing is that the battery was totaly empty today.. could that have a part in this?

The fault has to be in the motronic harness. where would you guys start?

okay still the same fuse but another reason... the wire that goes from the fuse goes to pin 18

                18. ECU Power Supply Terminal 30 (+12V), Fuse #64

what does that mean? when i follow the other wire it goes under the fuse box it's a red wire with a big shoe... it seems like it goes to a point were electricity is spread around the car...
