    AFR meter

    Excuse me please!
Can you tell me wich is the diference between the wideband AFR lambda and normal one?
I have an AFR meter and i can't read my lambda with it....
But iff i touch with my finger the signal wire goes to 14.9 afr...
Is working with diferent voltages? My lambda is ok measured with another AFR meter..
    Thank You!
    All the best!
    Eugen

Seriously though, normal Lambdas (I think) provides an output voltage between .1v and 1.0v dc based on the oxygen differential between the exhaust pipe and the atmosphere.
sensor range is limited to ratios of about 14.0:1 (1.0v) and 15.4:1(.1v).

Wide Band Sensors are able to depict air fuel ratio's as rich as 10.5:1 and as lean as 18:1
I assume they do this in the same way, but over a wider voltage range
