Finally got round to having a look at the car this weekend, turned the engine over without plugs in again but this time it spewed a fountain of coolant out so it must be the head gasket, so that solves that issue! We'll be stripping it down on tuesday if all goes well and sending it off for skimming. So whilst the head's off the engine, any things that can be done to better it? Obviously new bolts, I believe they're prone to stretching through heat, anything else to do?
New plugs will be going in aswell as air filter, any recommendations of which work best?
