I just pulled it out and left the breather open. No fuel smells.

The carbon canister is removed, so what do you want pictures of? The hole where it was? Lol
On mine I left the n80 plugged in and tied up in the loom at the rear of the engine.
The breather pipe it was in I have blanked off.
I know only have a flow and return fuel line to the tank.
In the boot I have retained the expansion vessel with the ball float valve etc.
And just extended the old breather with a new piece of hose down the inside of the inner wing and out through the flap in the side of the rear boot.Comment

Sorry, i should have been more specific. I get what to do at the engine side. I was interested in what people may have dine with the 3rd line and where they routed the new pipe. But tbh youv'e explained it quite well.
I noticed tonight that when the engine is running and i remove the rubber cap off the carbon canister it makes a phut phut phut noise is that normal?
Also i have noticed the fuel cap no longer goes pssssshhhh when i remove it. I think this is related to the fuel smell in the car. I think it is possible that the bayonet fuel pump in the tank is not sealing?Black B3 1990 CQ 2.3E converted to ABY & 6spd. (301bhp) - Now Sold

The put put put noise is vacuum from the back of the inlet manifold being aloud through by a pulse of the N80.
Hence just blank off the pipe on the manifold side.
Leave the valve plugged in to save error codes on the ECUComment

Just been out in the car and after I stopped I noticed the petrol flap was sticking out. So much pressure had built up in the tank it was actually pushing the filler cap against the flap and pushing it about 2" out, scary stuff. what next?Comment
