Converting CQ10v to S2 ABY using Avant

I have got hold of a damaged S2 ABY avant, In good condition but accident damaged.

The Avant is complete, but with OSF Wing and suspension damage. But, what other bits will i need that the avant wont supply in order to complete the car. (i.e Prop)

Which bits of the 10v drivetrain should i use?

Also will i encounter any chassis issues? in terms of mounting engine, gearbox, diff and Aux items?

Is the sump damaged on the Avant?

is your car a type 85 or 89?

For typ 89 then CHEN is your man. Newconvertor has also had this done.

Not sure about max speed? Was never powerful enough. I did 130 on the autobahn.
Sump is ok i think.

if it was the one on pistonheads recently with the front drivers side smashed in then he said the sump is knackered.

since it was the 10v I think you can still use the gearbox/diff if you wanted but you'd find it would top out earlier than if you swap to the avant stuff.

I would be looking to sell lots of bits of it, feel free to hammer my inbox and i will get back to you when i recieve the car. Obviously you know the intentions of my project and therefore what parts i will require myself! There will be a black/carbon interior available eventually (120k, so good nick). I already have S2 aux guages so they will be available too.

I will be sure to stick an ad in the for/sale section when the car arrives and the odd bits fall off.

But back to the conversion. What probs may i encounter??

Oh, and does anyone have an ABY coupe Prop lying around??? (Poss swap for an Avant one?? lol That would be a miracle!)

isn't there some trick you can do using half a prop shaft from a saloon and the other half from a coupe. If the avants the same you might be able to make one up out of the two.
