converting a 3b to ABY

Gents:

I'm planning on converting my 3b to an ABY/AAN harness and ECU as a stepping stone to VEMS.

Amongst other things, I need to address how to modify the 3b to handle the cam position sensor for the ECU.

Either drive it with the distributor hall sensor, or try something like the ABY/AAN Cam gear....

Any Been there done thats?

I'm trying to avoid having to switch to an ABY/AAN head as my 3b head is newly rebuilt ;-)

I have both ABY and 3B blocks and now both with the hall sender.

You can use the AAN Dizzy driven off the cam.

Thats what I would do - especially if the 3B head is freshly rebuilt.

Doesn't Vems allow you to run coil on plug using the dizzy just for timing?
I thought that there was an additional socket on the ECU for that purpose.
