Location of sensors

Any body can tell me, or send me fotos on my e-mail: rafaelpinto@win.psi.br, where can I found the temperature sensor at S2 Avant ABY??? and the fuel distributor frequency valve!!!

My S2 some times cut out at 4000RPM...

are you shure its not the VGF switch? Mine did something similar a while ago and my mechanic solved the problem by spraying something into the VGF and it OK since.

There are several temp senders on the engine. Do you mean water or oil? Water is no. 7 on pic and oil is no. 1.

There is also another sensor on the back of the head on my 3B. This is for water temp too.

Never heard of a fuel dist. freq. valve. I think you mean the wastegate freq. valve. WGFV for short.

Thanks a lot... I have solved the problem this weekend!
You may not belive, but was the Radiador Full Speed Fuse, there isn´t any fuse there, so, with high temperature, the radiador full speed may not active, and than the S2 engine cut out at 4000RPM.

I put a fuse there, and it is PERFECT...!!!

Any body knows where can I pick the technic manual? and others technick information?
Here in Brasil, the manual that AUDI give you, with your car, is so poor in information, for exemple, do not have any kind of specification of how much liters of oil may you put on the engine!!!

They have a reasonable explanation of S2 engine sensors. Its long due an update with photos etc when time permits.
