    Homefries of Joy!

Well Mr N, you have another very happy customer.

Got Homefries done last week, re-installed the ECU on Saturday and took her for a spin. I know from having a couple of remaps done that it's better to let it "mature" if you like.. I dunno if it's the car sorting itself out or me learning to drive it (I don't think S2's have adaptive ECUs??) but I did about 130 miles on Saturday and another 120 or so today and all I can say is:

    **** me!

Car is smoother, pulls better particularly higher up in the rev range (WOT and 4.5krpm feel like a good kick in the back).. the car feels absolutely relentless. I get the feeling that I'm getting a slight surging at full chat, almost like the boost pipe is at it's limit and maybe collapsing slightly, but it's a 14 year old standard one so the next job is new pipework!

    Very pleased with it
