    alloy radiator?

thinking of getting an alloy radiator for my type 85 CQ.

i've seen some for sale from a company called 'nissens'. anyone have experience of them?

    are they any good?

it says they have an alloy core and plastic ends? is that a good thing or a bad thing? cause the rad i have at the moment has metal ends. What's better? is 'plastic' up to the task? or are they not a good idea?

I would be interested in a Uk alternative for a alloy rad with threaded fitting options?

Allimotorsport do them as feature in practical performance magazine.

I know another member has one installed but I don't know where Mr Sal got his from.

I contacted a company called RADTEC (www.radtec.co.uk Tel 01543 502525 based in Stafford) and they were very keen to include Audi on their production list. I don't run the auxilary radiator on the rally car and they were also happy to do a one off for me. Happy to join a group buy if it goes that way with this company.
I run a 4 core radiator that was modified by Dixon Radiators (0161 336 2705) in Denton Manchester. It has kept the rally car cool for a few years now. I also have the radiator braced with my own design 'V' Frame.
I'll keep watching this thread to see what happens to the group buy!
