In this foto anexed, this stick is from Auto-Pilot accelerate system?
I was traveling when the auto-pilot has turned off whitout any command of mine!!!! And after that, the accelerator has blocked in maximos....
A have pick it out of the engine....
Yes, the item you have arrowed is the actuator rod for the cruise control. The unit itself sits under the inlet manifod and attaches to the same point that the brown earth wires do via a bracket.
Having this thing stick open sounds scary! Did you switch off the engine or did it recover itself? Or, was this your excuse to the police when they caught you speeding?!?! "I am sorry officer for driving so fast but my cruise control actuator jammed my throttle open!"

So, when this stick jammed the throttle full opened, I have "kicked" the acceleretor pedal, almost 3 times, when it cames free. But, if it didn´t came free, I will turn the engine off!!!!
So, now I need to make a new plastic from that stick, so than I can make my cruise control alive again!!!
