Oil pressure relief valve...

This is the last thing i need to remove from my block...

Is it a special tool to remove this...looks like a long reach spline tool to me...any hints where i can get one?

Isn't the oil pressure relief valve the tube with holes by the spring in this photo of an "exploded" oil pump?:

that funny oil 'thingy' under one of the oil pressure sensors on the side of the block...defo a spline of some sort.

Yep, will be replacing oil pump.

So it is the oil check valve, 17mm nut on the outer and then a 40T in side the block
