    Millers and consumption

Anyone else here been using fully synthetic 5w 40millers oil in there S2,just wondered about their general oil consumption.
Don't want to start usual forum debate about what oil to use, although thinking of changing to a silkolene 10w50.

I used to use synta gold for a long time, and found that between 6k oil changes needed a top up, switched to millers using the same grade and no top up needed.

Using what I put in the first post, have been told that it may be a bit thin for a higher mileage engine.

What mileage has the engine done??
                5w40 seems a bit thin.............
would have thought that a 10w40 would have been a better choice.
